Professor Michie is a respected researcher and author on all things employee ownership.
He recently published a major report on mutuals, ‘People, Place and the Economy: the Social Value of Mutuals’ and is strongly connected to the government’s policy conversation on mutuals.
He’ll examine the long-standing challenges facing the UK economy, the global pressures shaping those challenges, and the opportunities to build a more socially and environmentally sustainable path ahead.
He’ll also consider the role employee ownership can play in creating a more resilient economy, rewarding work, stronger social cohesion and greater individual wellbeing.
